3G 20-GR Uprated Front Brake Discs for all Toyota Starlet EP82 and EP91 models.

The 3G 20-GR Uprated Front Brake Discs are perfect for more powerful Starlets. With an aggressive look they sit perfectly behind a nice set of wheels on any Starlet, and its multiple hard edged grooves help it to bite as hard as it looks.

The grooves which are machined into the braking surface of the disc act to clean (deglaze) the surface of the pad, removing the glazed surface that builds up during the high temperatures experienced under heavy braking. The grooves provide channels for the removal of gases that are produced during heavy braking. It is this cushion of gas that forms between disc and pad that causes brake fade. The grooves are also said to play a part in the removal of brake dust / particles and cooling of the disc.
