This service kit is perfect for Starlet owners that want to perform a basic service, maintaining there engines performance and protecting it from unnecessary wear. Keeping the Starlets maintained is essential for reliability and engine efficiency, with neglect comes comes long term expense so careful consideration now will ensure trouble free motoring.

Performing a basic service on your own car will also give you more understanding on how the Starlets operate and will save you from having to pay someone else to do it.

The Service Kit A Includes:

• Magnetic Sump Plug
• Oil Filter
• Fuel Filter
• NGK Iridium Spark plugs (4)

All direct fit for the Starlets.

Magnetic Sump Plug - This is a very light alloy sump plug with a strongly magnetised insert which traps metal filings and debris to its surface. These metal particles are normally held in suspension in the oil so these plugs will help to reduce component wear. Replaces OEM sump plug that is removed when changing the oil.

Oil Filter - It is highly recommended that you change your oil filter with each oil change! Regular oil changes are essential with the turbo models, we recommend oil changes at least every 2,000 -3,000 miles. Oil filter is also supplied with a new washer for the sump plug which should be changed at each oil change.

Fuel Filter - A contaminated fuel filter can put undue pressure on the fuel pump, eventually resulting in the pump prematurely failing. It could also let contaminates get into the fuel injectors, possibly resulting in them becoming clogged, reducing fuelling efficiency. Replacing a fuel filter is fairly easy and protects your engine from damage as well as restoring lost power. It is recommended you change the filter at least every 10,000 miles.

Spark Plugs - Iridium IX Spark Plugs are the most technologically advanced high performance plugs available. Designed specifically for the Starlets the Iridium IX offers extreme ignitability, improved throttle response and superior anti fouling. Replacing worn sparkplugs will improve your engines efficiency resulting in better performance and fuel economy. These are available in heat grade 6 (Standard), 7 (Mildly Modified) & 8 (Heavily Modified). Please state which plug grade you want upon ordering.
